BACHELORS OF ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGY( MECHANICAL)

4 YEARS DEGREE PROGRAM

Program Brief

The The Bachelors of Engineering Technology (Mechanical) program is crafted to align with the evolving needs of the mechanical industry, focusing on training individuals in areas such as industrial systems, manufacturing, mechanical design, and related fields. This comprehensive four-year degree offers a blend of theoretical knowledge and practical experience. In the final year, students receive hands-on training, providing real-world exposure that sharpens their professional skills. The integration of mechanical engineering theory with practical application equips students with a strong foundation, empowering them to think critically and act independently in their careers. Graduates can pursue opportunities in industries like manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, and government sectors related to infrastructure and engineering.
Department of technology vision:
To nurture technically proficient and professional talent, contributing to industrial growth and societal development.
Graduates of the B.E. Tech. (Mechanical) program are expected to develop the following skills after four years of professional experience:
To prepare well-rounded professional mechanical engineering technologists with skillful, creative minds, a strong sense of social and industrial responsibility, and moral values, equipped for lifelong learning.

B.E. Tech. (Mechanical) Program PEOs:

  • PEO 1: Apply an interdisciplinary and integrative approach to solve technological challenges across various industries and societal contexts.
  • PEO 2: Demonstrate intellectual independence and leadership skills, enabling critical evaluation of information and creative problem-solving.
  • PEO 3: Embrace lifelong learning, fostering personal growth and professional excellence as a responsible and skilled individual.

B.E. Tech. (Mechanical) program has the following PLOs which every student should successfully achieve to complete his/her graduation:

  • PLO_1 Engineering Knowledge: An ability to apply knowledge of mathematics, natural science, Engineering Technology fundamentals and Engineering Technology specialization to defined and applied Engineering Technology procedures, processes, systems or methodologies.
